Student News - Term 4 Week 9

Emily (Y10) recently competed at the QLD Junior Track Cycling Championships. She secured podium finishes in her three events, winning bronze in the Keirin, gold in the Sprint and Gold in the Time Trial. Her times in the Sprint and Time Trial gave her automatic qualification for the state team for Nationals in 2024. As part of their HERO Signature Program, 60 Year 3 students recently competed in the Orienteering ACT Primary Schools Championship. Students competed in pairs, exploring the Barrenjoey Peninsula on the Molonglo River. Our CGGS rowers are off to a hot start! Last weekend our rowers competed in two regattas.
