Canberra Girls Grammar School's Early Learning Centre (ELC) provides our youngest students with a welcoming, nurturing and safe environment. Located on the Junior School campus, the ELC is purpose-built to meet children's needs and provide them with time, space and opportunities to explore the world and discover their unique place within it. The program is play- and inquiry-based, integrating the Early Years Learning Framework with the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme.
All ELC classes are staffed with passionate and highly qualified teachers providing a sense of consistency and continuity of learning for their students. The ELC is co-educational and caters to students from three to five years old in two separate year levels. Students who begin in Reception have their place at CGGS assured to the end of Year 3 for boys and the end of Year 12 for girls.
