Year 6 Illuminate Challenge

Earth in a Box, a subscription for planting your very own garden. Recycled fashion for people experiencing poverty. House of Hope, a bag that can turn into a tent for people experiencing homelessness.

These were several of the ideas that our Year 6 students presented to their parents and staff as part of their Illuminate Challenge. As part of the challenge, students were required to find a solution for at least one of the United Nations' 17 sustainable development goals. The girls showed incredible empathy, innovation and creativity when considering their solution.

At CGGS, our mission is to develop resilient, compassionate, critical thinking leaders who are ready to fulfil their potential as global citizens. Experience the curriculum that nurtures these qualities for yourself at our Junior School Open Morning on 11 May. Register here.
