Sport success for CGGS Alumni

We have a proud history of Alumni performing at the highest level of sport following their time at CGGS.

Rosie Schweizer (Class of 2018), who plays basketball for the University of the Pacific in the USA, was one of 11 players in the nation honoured with a national academic award. Rosie is majoring in political science, with minors in international studies and sustainability.

Grace Kemp (Class of 2019), who was a boarding student, has signed with the Canberra Raiders for the club's inaugural NRLW season. Grace has previously represented the ACT Brumbies in the Super W, and in 2022 played for the Wallaroos at the Rugby World Cup.

Student athletes at CGGS are offered pathways to state, national and elite sport programs, making a career in sport a realistic opportunity after graduation.
