International Day of Women & Girls in Science

Saturday, 11 February was International Day of Women & Girls in Science.

To celebrate, during Tutor Group time on Wednesday, 15 February the Science Faculty challenged our students to a game of trivia that included questions about women in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). To start the activity, the girls were asked to answer the question 'What is the purpose of International Day of Women & Girls in Science?'. The question spurred some insightful discussion about women in STEM, with the girls highlighting the impact women have on these industries and the contribution they could make to bridging gender gaps.

Backed by global research, our curriculum empowers young women to follow their passions, break boundaries and blaze a path for themselves and the young women that join them on their educational journey. Happy International Day of Women & Girls in Science!
