We are committed to investing in the development of our teachers, by providing them with opportunities to collaborate and extend their skills.
Recently we hosted over 10 schools at our beautiful lakeside campus, Yhuuramulum, for an International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) Coordinator and Language Acquisition workshop. Mr Adrian Gan, our IBMYP Coordinator, wrote the material for the workshop and facilitated sessions focused on determining progressions of language learning, models for creating authentic assessment, and approaches to developing inquiry-based units of work.
CGGS staff collaborated with educators from across the ACT and NSW to discuss common issues, share resources and explore alternative approaches to their teaching practice. As an MYP candidate school, we are dedicated to providing our teachers with the tools to develop a balanced program of study that meets our student's developmental needs.
