Cause for celebration

As we farewell Week 7, we have a lot to celebrate from the last two weeks. Our celebration of International Women’s Day through a dedicated IWD assembly was an outstanding event. It takes a community

The power of a community in action is a wonderful thing to behold, particularly when faced with real adversity. As Head of Junior School, Mr Peter McDonald has noted, U is for Ukraine. The international community is uniting in opposition to the Russian invasion. Here we are, Week 3! I cannot believe how quickly the first few weeks have gone in the Senior School. Year 11 and 12 Retreats

Last week our Senior students immersed themselves in a two-day retreat on campus. The retreats were led by Mrs Tara Dunstall, Ms Samantha Newbond, and Ms Rachel Vance and supported by the Year 11 and Year 12 Pastoral Care Teachers. Stepping away from their daily studies, students reflected both individually and collectively, creating plans for a successful final two years at CGGS.
