Ava Farrah (Year 10) and Zoë Rosin (Year 12) both competed at the 2021 Australian Age Diving Championships in Brisbane during the April school holidays. Both girls competed individually and were also paired as syncro partners (photo below). Ava was also selected as the NSW Co-Captain (ACT competitors dive under the NSW banner at a national level). Both girls dive at the Canberra Diving Academy and while most states train all year round, Canberra divers only have five months to train when the Civic Pool diving board is open. To represent at a national level, and perform so well, is a credit to them. Congratulations girls.
Lucy Hincksman (Year 11) competed in the 2021 Australian Track and Field Championships in Sydney during the holidays. She tackled four races in four days, competing in the U18 1,500m and 800m and came away with a bronze medal after achieving a PB in the 1,500m. Well done, Lucy!
