GRAMMARIANS’ NEWS

Each year the Grammarians run a garden stall and this year they are running it at the local election to raise funds for the Grammarians’ Association and we need your help!

This year students from years 3 – 6 were given the opportunity to come up with a design that can be used on the poster to advertise the garden stall event. Keeping to the theme of ‘flowers, gardens, sunshine’ the Grammarians’ Association Committee had many beautiful designs to choose from.

The winner and runners up were announced at the Junior School Assembly on Monday 12 September and were presented with a prize from Sanchia Glaskin (Starke, 1965), President and Liz Mulcahy (McPherson, 1981), Secretary from the Grammarians Association Committee.

Congratulations to Caitlin Teng from 6R whose entry was the winning design and will be used on the poster for the event.

Congratulations also to our runners up Georgina Hill, 5B and Isabelle Richardson, 4M.

Keep an eye out for information on the Grammarians’ Garden Stall in the coming weeks.
