Kayla Zissler (2013), was one of two handball goalkeepers selected for the world championship qualifying event in Kazakhstan from June 11-19. This will be the former Canberra Girls Grammar School student's first time in the national senior team after representing her country at junior level. Link here for article.

Robin Duff (1978), is running a Youth Mental First Aid course on 11-12 July, 9am-5pm at the Youth Coalition of the ACT, Clianthus Street, O'Connor. Cost is $250. If any are parents of teens, they can do it for free by signing up for the 'Training Parents of Teens' study being undertaken by the Centre for Mental Health at the University of Melbourne (see info. attached).More information on the course can be found at https://mhfa.com.au/courses/public/types/youth. To enrol people can email Robin Duff robinduff099@gmail.com

Sara Poguet (2005) has recently appeared on the front page of The Canberra Times. Sara, owner and Head Chef of Braddon’s Chez Frederic talks about her experiences with starting her own business and proving herself in a male dominated industry. After only 18 months of opening Chez Frederic, Sara was featured on this year’s Australian Institute of Management’s list of outstanding managers under the age of 30.
