The Canberra Girls Grammar School Intermediate Concert Band and Chamber Orchestra had a lovely morning performing at Floriade on Friday, 14 October.

It was warm – the sun was shining, and we had the opportunity to take in the beauty of the gardens in addition to performing on Stage 88.

Both ensembles played beautifully, allowing the audience to enjoy musically outstanding performances in a lovely environment. We missed our Year 9 students who were away on camp, however, hope they will be able to join us for our 2017 Floriade performance.

Thank you to the family and friends who were able to come to Floriade and form part of the audience for these performances. Congratulations to all students for your excellent work and for representing our School so well.
