Step Three - Documentation

In March at least two years prior to proposed entry (or earlier where practicable), a member of the Admissions team will contact you to make a request for relevant documents.

Step Four - Interview

You will be invited to attend an interview with the Head of Junior/Senior School or their delegate.

Students applying to enter the Boarding House will also meet with the Executive Director of Operations and the Head of Boarding to approve their place.

For applicants outside the Canberra region, or in cases where families are unable to travel to the school in person, an online interview can be arranged.

Please note that interviews for the ELC will be held six months prior to commencement, and families will receive a Conditional Letter of Offer prior to this time.

Step Five - Enrolment offer

Within one week of the interview, successful applicants will be sent a Letter of Offer, asked to read and sign the Enrolment Agreement (EA), and pay the non-refundable enrolment deposit.

A student’s place is only confirmed and held once the EA is signed and the deposit has been made.

Step Six - Confirmation letter

Once we receive the above, you will be sent a confirmation of enrolment email. Boarding families will also be sent the Boarding House Handbook and Boarding House Agreement to read, sign and return.

Your child’s enrolment will be guaranteed through to the end of Year 3 for boys and end of Year 12 for girls - assuming all requirements for continued enrolment are being met by the family and student.

We can't wait to welcome you to the CGGS community!
