Before and After School Care
The Early Learning Centre offers a Before School Care and After School Care program for students enrolled in the ELC. These programs provide children with a safe and nurturing environment, where they have opportunities to play, learn and develop new skills with their peers and supportive educators. Please note that additional fees apply to the Before School Care and After School Care program (see Fees and Child Care Subsidy.)
Before School Care operates Monday to Friday from 8.00am until 9.00am, during school term time. The program does not operate on Public Holidays or CGGS Pupil Free days.
After School Care operates Monday to Friday from 3.00pm until 6.00pm, during school term time. The program does not operate on Public Holidays or CGGS Pupil Free days.
Parents of children attending ASC are asked to provide a light snack for their child to have for afternoon tea.
All bookings are made online, through the My Family Lounge app.

Enrolments for Before and After School Care programs are accepted on a permanent and a casual basis.
- Permanent bookings are confirmed and guaranteed; however, fees are payable in the case of absence.
- Casual bookings are subject to places being available on a given day and cannot be guaranteed.

Absences and cancellations
Absences must be advised in advance to ensure student accountability and safety. Parents can advise that their child will be absent using the My Family Lounge app (preferred) or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org
Amendment of permanent days can be requested through the My Family Lounge portal by editing the current booking with the new request allowing one week's notice and subject to availability.
Cancelation: If you are cancelling your permanent booking for BSC or ASC completely, please email email@example.com allowing one weeks’ notice. Fees are payable during the notice period.
*Please note that reinstatement of permanent bookings or changes to permanent bookings must be requested using the waitlist application process on My Family Lounge.
Cancellations to casual bookings may be made up to 12 noon on the day, without penalty. Cancellations made after this time will be charged full casual fees.
It is expected that all children are collected from ASC promptly by 6.00pm.
If a child is picked up from 6.01pm, a $50 late collection fee will be applied.
