Founders' Day Reunions

At Canberra Girls Grammar School, reunions are an important part of our Founders’ Day celebrations. In recognition of the laying of the Foundation Stone by Dr Radford on 8 May 1927, Founders’ Day celebrations are held each year in May and are a wonderful opportunity to share stories, renew friendships and reminisce about school days of past.
In recognition of this important day in the history of the School, in 2019 our, Founders’ Day celebrations will be 4-6 May with special acknowledgment for the 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60 and 70 year milestones.

CGGS is also pleased to assist with a number of peer-led reunions each year. In the past, peer-led reunions have varied from a cocktail party or sit down dinner on the Saturday night to a picnic in the park or group catch up on the Sunday. We can help arrange class lists, contact past teachers, assist with designing and sending your invitation, booking venues and help keep track of the RSVP’s.

If you would like to organise a peer-led reunion, please contact Rebecca Turner, Alumni and Events Manager on 02 2602 6403 or
