2023 Gabriel Foundation Scholars' Program - Scholarships
Each year, we offer eight scholarships for girls from Year 5 to Year 10. Scholarships are not means-tested, and once granted, are effective for the remainder of the recipient's enrolment, provided they meet the requirements of the Gabriel Foundation Scholars’ Program. In addition to the tuition remission, the Standard Family Contribution (SFC) is waived for all scholarship recipients.

Vivien Gough Memorial Music Scholarship
The Vivien Gough Memorial Music Scholarship is open to girls entering Year 5 and Year 7 in 2023. The scholarship enables students with an outstanding aptitude in music to develop their musicianship and benefit from a Canberra Girls Grammar School education.

The Janine Murphy Memorial Scholarship is awarded to students entering Year 7 in 2023 who aim to use their sporting talents, leadership, cultural and community experiences to make a positive contribution to school life.

The Gabriel Academic Scholarship is open to girls entering Year 5 and Year 7 in 2023. The scholarship is awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence and show a consistent and sound academic history.

Principal’s Scholarship of Excellence
The Principal's Scholarship of Excellence is open to current Year 7-11 students, as well as new students entering in Years 7-11 in 2023 and recognises students who have the potential to become part of the next generation of brave-hearted leaders.

Indigenous Day Student Scholarship
The Indigenous Student Scholarship is open to current Year 7-11 students, as well as new students entering in Years 7-11 in 2023 and offers local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families the opportunity to send their daughters to CGGS and a day student and gain a world-class secondary education.
