CGGS DRAMA STUDENTS WILL PERFORM AT THE
ALBERT HALL 80TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATIONS
Approximately 22 CGGS students from Year 10 to Year 12 will perform at the Albert Hall 80th Anniverary Celebrations.
The students, along with Drama teacher, Donna Trucillo, have created a 15 minute piece, representating the performance history of the Albert Hall. Students will be playing well known performers, such Dame Joan Sutherland (Rochelle Dew 11D), representating the time they performed at the Albert Hall. The Drama piece will also include music and dance and is part of the Official Birthday Ceremony.
Celebrations start at 8am with the Official Birthday Ceremony begining at 10.30am.
Cast members include: Narrator – Alice Hermes; St Gabriel’s School Social – Bonnie McArthur, Emma Price, Stephanie Russell; Alice in Wonderland – Sarah Bradbury, Chloe Bambach; Celebrating the end of WWII – Caitlyn Lane, Ros Quincey O’Neill, Lauren Shelley, Anna Trundle; Joan Sutherland – Rochelle Dew; Violinist – Kate Hewitt; Ballerinas – Merci Taylor, Rebecca Wojcik; The Sentimental Bloke – Erin Parker, Clair Phillips, Aleks Trkulja, Jessica White; Public Meeting – Dr Lenore Coltheart – Lauren Jenkins and Members of the audience – Arisha Arif, Lizzie Kaye, Bridget O’Donnell, Jo Richards.

For many years CGGS used the Albert Hall for its Speech Nights, Balls and various performances.
