From 29 November to 23 December 2012, 23 students from CGGS Years 10 to 12 and four teachers travelled in two teams to India with Antipodeans Abroad.

Teams were involved in a six day trek through the Himalayan range and appreciated stunning views of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga. They fundraised to be involved in community projects to help Tibetan refugee communities in the town of Kalimpong, and also spent time taking in the sights, sounds, smells and people of Kolkata, Gangtok and Darjeeling.
