In honour of International Women’s Day, Sarina Hicks (Year 11), Imogen Laing (Year 11) and Jessie Glassock (Year 12) attended the Women in Defence high tea last Thursday. The theme was, “Dare to lead: Respect and empowerment in today’s ADF” and students heard from three women currently serving in the ADF who reflected on their career paths and on their leadership roles.

The event introduced students to the opportunities for women in the ADF as well as provided valuable insight in to lives of female leaders. Perhaps most importantly, the students felt supported and welcomed by these inspiring women.
