Congratulations to Grace Carter (Year 11 Burgmann) who has been accepted to attend the Gondwana National Choral School for the 7th time! Grace was one of the soloists at the Music Academy’s Together in Music Concert in April this year. Grace will sing with the internationally renowned Gondwana Voices and has been attending the Choral School since she was 10. The Choral School takes place over 2 weeks in January at the University of New South Wales, with the final public concerts (which are always a sell-out) held at the University Mathews Theatre. Well done Grace!

Tiahna Larkham (Year 6 Mackellar) and Sophia Sykes (Year 7 Burgmann) earned themselves a bronze medal representing the ACT in the 12 and under Touch Football National Championships in Tasmania!

Last week, Gloria Milosis (Year 5 Bates) travelled to Adelaide where she competed for the ACT in the Bruce Cup Tennis Championships.

Good luck to Bronte Coggan (Year 6 Mackellar) who will be competing in the ACT team at the SSA Softball Championships in November.

Elizabeth Diedricks (Year 7 Waverley) and Louisa Carr (Year 7 Burgmann) have been selected to represent the ACT in the 12 and under Cricket team competing at the National Schools Championship in Bunbury, Western Australia from 13–19 December. Both girls play for Eastlake in the local competition (Thunder Cup) and we wish them well in WA!
