Year 8 yoga student Aisha Patterson has been named Australian Youth Yoga Champion. Representing Canberra, Aisha placed first in the Youth Division of the 2013 Australian National Yoga Asana Championship in Melbourne on the weekend. "We are very proud of her as she has been training extremely hard, especially in the summer holidays, in order to get to this point," says Aisha's mum Lisa Patterson.

Congratulations to students Lauren Sandeman and Isabella Bain who have been chosen in the U18 and U23 Australian dragon boating teams to compete in the World Championships in Hungary in July.

Congratulations Year 7 student Rosie Schweizer who in the Christmas holidays was awarded a School Sport ACT Excellence in Sport Award. In 2012, Rosie represented the ACT in four different sports in one single year - softball, hockey, basketball and cricket.

Congratulations Year 8 student Amy Abbey on becoming the South Coast Junior Surf Lifesaver of the Year. Amy's commitment to surf life saving is such that she and her family travel from Canberra every weekend to participate in activities with their club.

Congratulations to Year 9 student Rhian Baker who is set to compete in coming weeks as a member of the Australian team in the US Open Taekwondo competition in Las Vegas, USA.
