CGGS competed at the National Rowing Championships, aka Sydney International Rowing Regatta from 19-25 March 2018.

Whilst it was a young squad of rowers participating, they achieved some excellent results - four out of the five boats entered made an A-finals and a bronze medal finish was achieved in the U17 Quad.

The Under 17 Eight were pipped into fourth place and were only four seconds off first place. This has been an exceptional effort with four Year 9 students rowing two divisions up from their usual level. It highlights the terrific season CGGS has had in rowing under Head of Rowing, Caroline Pijpers.
