There have been a number of successful events this week to welcome new families and staff to the Junior School. Ms Angela Whittaker hosted an afternoon tea to introduce herself to the parent community, following on from a similar evening event last week. Ms Whittaker very much enjoyed engaging in conversation, finding out more about the school and its strong community.

We were fortunate that Ms Whittaker and her husband David were also able to join us for Welcome Drinks for parents new to the school. At this relaxed function new parents were able to meet staff, class Parent Representatives and members of the active Parents and Friends Association. They also began to make connections with other new parents. An information session on Canvas, the school’s Learning Management System, used as a communication tool between parents and the school, was held at the conclusion of the event. Mr Eric Roussel, ELearning Coordinator, gave an informative presentation that will maximise access to this valuable tool.
