Junior School Presentation Morning

Posted 6 December 2019 1:10pm

This morning, members of our Junior School community gathered in the CGGS Hall for the annual Presentation Morning.

Academic awards were presented to students in Years 3 to 5, while our Year 2 boys officially ‘graduated’ from the Junior Primary section of the school.

Each Year 6 student was then honoured and presented on stage before singing together The Traveler’s Song by Douglas Beam.

We were delighted to welcome Grammarian Daniella Vido (2016) to present the Cicolari & Vido Award for General Excellence, now in its 10th year, to Year 6 students Kate Corcoran and Olivia Kiermaier.

Another special award, the Anne Coutts Creative Writing Cup was presented to Eliza Carpenter (Year 2).

In a great display of school spirit, each of the House Captains took to the stage to lead their respective Houses in chants before Mackellar was awarded the House Sports Shield and Bates won the Aggregate House Shield.

Outgoing Head Girl and Deputy Head Girls presented next year’s leaders with their badges, along with best wishes and firm handshakes.
