The Grammarians’ Association hosted their annual Year 12 Leavers Lunch on Thursday, 20 October where 156 students, Grammarians and staff gathered in the Boarding House Courtyard to celebrate this special occasion.

As part of her address, President of the Grammarians’ Association, Sanchia Glaskin (Starke, 1965) was excited to announce that as part of the School’s 90th anniversary, upon graduation all current and past students who have attended the School for a period of 12 months or more, automatically become Life Members of the Grammarians’ Association.  This replaces the current arrangement where graduating students have paid a fee to become Life Members of the Association.

We were also lucky enough to have Grammarian Gemma Butler (2012) as our guest speaker. Gemma shared a story about resilience and how best to overcome challenges that come your way.

Thank you to all who attended the lunch, it is always a fantastic occasion for current and past students to come together to celebrate their time at Canberra Girls Grammar School.
