Grammarians' news

Posted 7 August 2015 12:25pm

On Thursday 4 August, 40 Grammarians attended the Vintage Lunch held in the Boarding House, traveling to Canberra Girls Grammar School from as far away as Perth!

The lunch is an annual event, and this year alumni from 1939 to 1965 had a wonderful opportunity to catch up with their peers, reminisce about their time at CGGS and hear about current activities from Head of Senior School, Peter Milligan.

The afternoon was filled with Grammarians sharing memories and renewing friendships. The large archival display created by Archivist Amalta Sahay as always created lots of interest and took many of our Grammarians on a trip down memory lane.

Imogen Allen (2014), has joined the Early Learning Centre on the relief register. Imogen graduated from CGGS in 2014 and is currently on her gap year before she commences studies next year in Physiotherapy at the University of Canberra. Imogen has just returned to Australia from the UK after working at Abberley Hall School for three months as an assistant housemistress, where she worked at the school's nursery throughout the day with the 2 to 4-year-olds.
