Heather Walsh, CGGS Chief Operating Officer was made an Honorary Grammarian at a surprise afternoon tea held by the Grammarians’ Association Committee last Friday. Heather will be finishing up with CGGS this week after over twelve years with the school. Heather will be undertaking a position with the Diocese, working with various schools.

As part of her contributions not only to the school but her efforts towards the Grammarians’ Association, the Committee were delighted to award Heather with an honorary life membership.

"If you saw Heather's face as she got out of the lift you would have seen that this has come as a total surprise for her.
Heather, as we all know, has been an integral part of this school for over twelve years. She has worked tirelessly for us all and has certainly put in a lot of hours on behalf of the Grammarians’ Association. We are going to miss her very much and wish her well in her future endeavours. It is my pleasure to award Heather honorary membership of the Grammarians’ Association. Thank you Heather and welcome to our Association."
Sanchia Glaskin (Starke, 1965) President, The Grammarians’ Association.
