On Tuesday 18 March CGGS will be hosting the Grammarian Parent and Student Afternoon Tea in the Senior School Administration Building from 3.30 to 4.30pm. Emma Dobbie (2013), will be appearing in several shows at the 2014 Fashfest, including the first mainstream fashion appearance of designer Hijab House, which specialises in fashion for Islamic women. The 2013 Dux of CGGS is now studying a double degree in finance and actuarial studies and hopes to become involved in the business side of fashion in the future.

Dimity Azoury (2006), has been nominated for the 2014 Telstra Ballet Dancer Award. This is her second nomination; she was also nominated in 2012.

Alix Biggs (2012), will feature in a debate at Albert Hall on 26 March, arguing the topic ‘Australia doesn’t need Women’s History Month’. She will be sharing the stage with Professor Angela Woolacott, Dr Anne Summers, Professor Marilyn Lake, Dr Dawn Casey and Professor Marnie Hughes-Warrington. Alix is an ANU student, national and international debater and a former Australian Young Historian of the Year.

Jo Allison (1994), has finished overall first in the 2013-14 Twilight Series, an orienteering challenge adjusted for age and gender over 16 events. Previously she has won the ACT Orienteer of the Year award three times.
