Grammarians news this week.
Belinda Riding (1987). Belinda is the face of Fashfest 2014, taking over the position from another former CGGS student, Anneliese Seubert (1990). Belinda has enjoyed a modelling career spanning more than 25 years and the catwalks of Japan, Paris, Milan and New York, where she was based for much of her career. Having moved back to Canberra, Belinda’s role with Fashfest has involved casting new models for the catwalk and she will also grace the catwalks over the four-day event. Fashfest 2014 runs from 30 April to 3 May.
Katrina Hodgkinson (1983). The NSW Primary Industries minister, is seeking preselection as a Nationals candidate for the seat of Goulburn. Katrina was the first female NSW minister to hold the Primary Industries ministry role.
Dawn Waterhouse (Calthorpe, 1940). Mrs Waterhouse has arranged a display of her Shirley Temple memorabilia at Calthorpes' House which will be open this weekend, 1 and 2 March, 1pm to 4pm. Link here to read more about Mrs Waterhouse's collection.
Ashleigh Resch (2014) recently finished 4th in road-walking at the Millrose Games in New York. She was the highest placed junior in the field.
The Grammarians’ Association is hosting an afternoon tea for past students who have a child currently attending CGGS. We invite alumni to catch up and share stories over a cuppa, both with each other and with current students. Grandparents are also very welcome to attend. The Grammarian Parent and Student Afternoon Tea will be held in the Senior School Administration Building at 3.30pm on Tuesday 18 March.
