Year 12 French students studying both BSSS and IB courses, enjoyed a morning down by the lake for a French morning tea and then a visit to the NGA to view some of the French impressionist paintings. This is a culmination of the Semester 2 content where we investigated French Lifestyles and Traditions.
The students have immersed themselves in the language through French film, music, television and art. The girls were very impressed to see one of Monet’s original waterlily paintings hanging in our National Art Gallery here at Canberra.
