In Term 1, 2017 the Music Department are extending an invitation to the CGGS community to take part in a performance of Dan Forrest’s - Requiem for the Living.  We are inviting parents, caregivers, Grammarians, Staff and community members to join the community choir or orchestra for this wonderful performance.

The community choir is open to singers of all choral experience.  The community choir will rehearse Tuesday evenings from 6-8pm in the Recital Room at CGGS.  Rehearsals will commence on Tuesday 31 January and scores will be provided for all singers at this time.

For those wishing to join the symphony orchestra for this performance, you are encouraged to contact Rowan Harvey-Martin (Head of Strings) to discuss the standard of the repertoire and your involvement in the performance.  The orchestra will rehearse in the CGGS Hall from 4.30-5.30pm each Thursday afternoon commencing on 2 February.

The performance of this stunning work will take place on Friday 31 March 6pm in the CGGS Hall.  Tickets will become available for this event mid Term 1.  The community choir will come together with CGGS choirs, other community choirs and the symphony orchestra to perform this work.

If you are interested in joining the Community Choir or Orchestra please complete the form at the following link:  https://form.jotform.co/63288443510859
