These holidays, our overarching theme is “Connecting with our Community”. Through this broader holiday program theme, children will learn about different jobs in the community, learn new skills from local community members, engage in team building challenges to further their communication skills, and play with children from the Early Learning Centre program.
As always, the program was created with the input of children and families from previous holiday programs. This is a general guide and all efforts will be made to follow the program, however occasionally other areas of interest may arise spontaneously and this will be incorporated into the day. Particularly bad weather may affect some outdoor activities. If you have any ideas that would complement the program, or have any questions about the themed days, please do not hesitate to contact Claire Northfield (Claire.firstname.lastname@example.org).
Location and hours of operation
The centre is open 8.00am to 5:45pm daily during Girls Grammar term breaks at the Junior School campus located at 24 Grey Street, Deakin. Families are asked to drop their children off before 9am, and pick up any time after 3pm (unless other times are communicated with the centre).
Please note that food is not provided for the holiday program. Morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea need to be supplied by families. We are a nut-free centre.
Fees are $80.00 per child per day. Excursions attract an additional fee.
How to enrol
Applications for the program open at the end of Week 3 of each term, and close at the end of Week 8. Applications are available on the school’s website – www.cggs.act.edu.au. Please note that completion of a form does not guarantee a place in the program. Please wait for a confirmation email.
Cancellations or amendments to any holiday program bookings can be made before the application day cut off. Cancellations will not be able to be made after this date unless accompanied by a medical certificate.
